I ate so much pulpo in Spain when I went with my mom... I think it's delicious, but to each her own. :) And "ahumado" means smoked, so the salmon wasn't exactly raw. But I'm glad you're getting a kick out of trying new things, and that your gran aventura started off on the right foot! Yay, Spain. Octopus is “pulpo”!
